Terms & Conditions

∞ No persons under the age of 18 are permitted to attend any events with BooBrothers.

∞ Alcohol and/or drugs are not permitted on any event with BooBrothers.

∞ Due to location restrictions, heavily pregnant women are not allowed to attend an event with BooBrothers.

∞ Some of our locations are not suitable for individuals with disabilities. BooBrothers aims to make as many events as possible accessible, but this is dependent on the location.

∞ BooBrothers has a strict behavioural policy. Respect for others and the nature of the event is crucial.

∞ BooBrothers are not liable for any damage or loss of your property whilst attending one of our events. BooBrothers is not liable for damage to personal equipment or cars whilst travelling to attend our event, whilst at our event or the journey home.

∞ Each person(s) attending an event with BooBrothers is attending at their own risk. BooBrothers are not liable for accidents/injury or incidents which occur due to non-compliance of our behavioural policy or within our terms and conditions.

∞ Smoking is prohibited inside any BooBrothers event. The use of cigarettes and electronic cigarettes are not allowed unless in the allocated smoking areas. In addition, the use of naked flames is banned (this includes candles/matches) due to fire hazards.

i. No alcohol or drugs are to be consumed prior or during an event with BooBrothers. BooBrothers has a zero tolerance for this, and any guest thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed into the event. If an individual is believed to be under the influence during our event, this will be handled quickly, and the person(s) concerned will be removed from the event regardless of external factors (i.e.. Weather conditions/transport). BooBrothers do not have to prove that you are under the influence but can act accordingly if we believe this to be the case.

ii. Some locations are not suitable for clients with disabilities. BooBrothers aims to make as many of our events accessible to all, but dependant on locations it may not always be possible due to the conditions of some of the buildings. Your safety and wellbeing are our priority. 

iii. BooBrothers accepts no responsibility for any clothing, equipment, damage to vehicles, parking fines etc. BooBrothers are not liable for any damage or loss of your property whilst attending one of our events. BooBrothers is not liable for damage to personal equipment or cars whilst travelling to attend our event, whilst at our event or the journey home.

iv. Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and are protected against the weather. The events are run in the evenings, so we suggest wearing warm clothing especially in winter months. Some locations require walking to and from outside buildings so torches, warm clothing and appropriate footwear is a must. Please note, in the event of severe weather conditions BooBrothers reserve the right to cancel an event. 

v. There are occasions when events are cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. BooBrothers will make every effort to reschedule the event with more than one choice of date. If you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you can put the monies towards a future booking of your choice - subject to availability. We take every action possible to notify individuals of a cancelled event as soon as possible. However, if this has not been possible – we will not refund any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of an event, this includes travel and hotel expenses.

vi. Cameras, filming and recording equipment is allowed on our events subject to restrictions. However, on the rare occasion, a location may request that specific areas of their building are not filmed, and you must comply with their request. Any areas which are not to be filmed will be disclosed by BooBrothers at the start of an event.

vii. All footage caught is deemed to be for personal use only and not for public viewing. Ownership of this footage belongs to BooBrothers. 

viii. Before any recordings can be made (both video and/or audio) you must receive consent from other individuals in the room with you. You must have written consent from BooBrothers by email before releasing any audio or visual footage. This includes personal websites and all social media. This is to ensure the safety of our guests (compliant with GDPR regulations) and BooBrothers event locations are not compromised. Failure to comply with this could lead to legal action being taken.

Behaviour policy

Respect for others and the nature of the event is vital.

No disrespectful behaviour will be tolerated. We want all our guests to enjoy their ghost hunting experience and to always feel protected.

It is an individual’s responsibility to behave in a suitable manner and respect the needs of others. You must behave appropriately to prevent harm or injury, and/or put yourself or anyone else in danger. 

No alcohol or drugs are to be consumed prior or during an event with BooBrothers. BooBrothers has a zero tolerance for this.

Furthermore, when leaving the event, you will respect the needs of nearby residents by leaving quietly and quickly.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If you are unable to attend an event due to personal circumstances, BooBrothers cannot offer a refund or transfer your places to another event. Our locations are paid in advance, and we are liable for these costs. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

If the monies for the event have not been paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event date; your places will be put back up for sale and your deposit will not be refunded. It is essential that you contact BooBrothers as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an event. Contact must be made prior to the start time of the event as the team will be waiting for you to arrive and this will delay the event for other guests.

If you have paid in full - your tickets can be transferred to a third party. However, you need to inform BooBrothers as soon as possible of who the ticket has been transferred to and ensure you have explained the terms and conditions for BooBrothers events. Failure to do so will result in those guests not being allowed to enter the location.
